[Update]: Stray has now been unleashed, and I'm happy to say it's quite good!

I hope you're not sick and tired of hearing about cyberpunk games lately, because the newly announced Stray is certainly well worth keeping an eye on. Instead of starring the usual assortment of badass protagonists with metal limbs, Stray will have you take control of an adorable little cat and its drone companion!

Since I'm aware that sounds like complete nonsense, allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer. It'll give you a pretty good idea of just what kind of atmosphere Stray is going for. Have a peek:

When it comes to the actual gameplay, very few details are currently available. What I can tell you is that you will have to solve the mysteries of the neon-lit city of robots in the only way a cat knows how - by being stealthy, nimble, and should the opportunity call for it, a massive nuisance to some poor robot that's just trying to make a living.

You can expect to see Stray leap onto PC and PlayStation 5 at some point in 2021, though no exact release date has been given just yet. You can learn a tiny bit more about it, as well as keep an eye on any future updates, over at the Stray website.
