[Update]: Salt and Sacrifice has now landed onto PC and PlayStation, and unsurprisingly, it's a fun yet flawed experience.

Salt and Sacrifice is the upcoming sequel to the excellent 2D Souls-like RPG Salt and Sacrifice. While the details are still few and far between, Salt and Sacrifice will bring with it a greater focus on mobility through the usage of tools like the grappling hook, an improved inventory that will make it easier to utilize different items in combat, as well as more elaborate PvP and co-op options to help make everything just a bit more exciting.

What this looks like in actual gameplay, and especially all of that about the PvP side of things, that you can check out through the recently posted trailer. Have a peek:

If this looks like the type of action-RPG you'd like to sink your teeth into, you'll be happy to hear that Salt and Sacrifice has now been pinned for a May 10th, 2022 release date. Whether this is purely for the PlayStation version or if the same date applies for the PC as well, I'm afraid I just don't know. That said, the original landed onto PC after a very slight delay, so even if the worst case scenario happens and the PC version ends up being delayed, the wait shouldn't be all that bad.

Whatever the case may be, I'll make sure to let you know once we have a definitive answer. Until then, you can read a little bit more about Salt and Sacrifice and its approach to multiplayer over at the PvP focused developer update.
