[Update]: Raji: An Ancient Epic has now been released alongside some fairly positive reviews.

If you're looking for a bit of a departure from the usual Western or Japanese settings, you might want to check out the upcoming Raji: An Ancient Epic. To put it simply, it is an action-adventure set in ancient India and heavily flavored by Hindu mythology.

As for the actual gameplay, Raji will feature a combination of environmental platforming and puzzle-solving, along with plenty of god-empowered action. Depending on which gods you choose to favor you will be granted a variety of new abilities and weapons, which when combined should be more than enough to even the odds with your demonic foes.

But rather than babble on, allow me to share with you a lengthy gameplay preview from the recent Summer of Games 2020 event. Have a gander, it's quite a pretty one:

Raji: An Ancient Epic will be launching onto PC later this year, while the console versions are likely to follow closely behind. You can also learn more about Raji, as well as keep an eye on its progress moving forward, by hopping over to the official website.
