[Update]: After many years and many delays, Freedom Planet 2 will finally be launching on September 13th, 2022.

Freedom Planet 2 was originally supposed to release at some point in 2018, but as you might imagine things didn't go exactly according to plan and so Freedom Planet 2 was repeatedly delayed. Quite a few years have gone by since then, but I'm pleased to say that Freedom Planet 2's long journey will soon be coming to a (hopefully glorious) end.

According to the newest update over at Twitter, GalaxyTrail have announced that Freedom Planet 2 will be unleashed in spring 2022. As far as launch platforms are concerned, only PC has been confirmed so far. That said, GalaxyTrail have already mentioned that they're interested in porting Freedom Planet 2 to consoles, so expect to see those versions at some point down the line as well.

For those of you that prefer a more hands-on approach, it's also worth mentioning that Freedom Planet 2 has a free demo available on Steam. It's obviously quite outdated at this point, but it should still serve as a nice little teaser of things to come.
