While Christmas may have come and gone, there's still plenty of presents to be had in Ark: Survival Evolved as the most recent patch has added the jolly Raptor Claus. You can occasionally encounter him as he darts across the night sky in his sleigh, dropping presents for all the good boys and girls. As for the rest... well, let's just say you don't want to be on this Santa's naughty list!
Besides all of the holiday themed items, Patch 253 brings with it two new (and apparently massive) underwater caves to explore, five new creatures to potentially die against, as well as a camera to immortalize some of your most precious memories, such as a bunch of raptors giving your friend a big ol' toothy hug. If you're wondering what all of this might look like in game, here's the recently posted teaser trailer:

If you're looking for an excuse to put in a couple more hours into Grim Down before its expansion finally arrives in 2017, you'll be glad to hear that the most recent patch has added a brand new "roguelike dungeon". The newly introduced and apparently massive The Fall of Valbury dungeon brings with it 4 new monster Infrequents, 2 new Unique items, 6 new bosses and mini-bosses to die against, and naturally, a bunch of new lore to uncover.
For those of you wondering about the full patch notes, you can find them by heading over to the official website. But if you just want to check out what awaits in Port Valbury, you can begin your adventure by heading to the Conflagration which lies northeast of Homestead. Additionally, those Honored with the Outcast may also want to pay her a visit, though I'm not exactly sure what awaits you once you do.

And to further cement its place as a 'proper' The Binding of Isaac expansion, Antibirth also comes with a fucked up animated trailer. So if you're up for bizarre imagery, as well as brief flashes of gameplay, you'll find the video right below. Have a look:
Life is Strange devs have released a rather intriguing teaser for their upcoming vampire RPG - Vampyr
- By Ash

For those of you not in the loop, Vampyr is an upcoming vampire themed RPG from Dontnod, the developers behind Life is Strange and Remember Me. But rather than simply be yet another action adventure, Vampyr is aiming to explore the duality that comes from our protagonist being both a doctor, and a bloodthirsty demon of the night. Dealing with a plague that's sweeping the city is hard enough on its own, but its a lot harder when you have to snack on those you're trying to save in order to not wither and die!
And it is exactly this sort of duality that the most recent teaser trailer showcases by letting us in on the private conversations of the various citizens that inhabit the plague-ridden streets of London. But enough babbling from me, here's the video:

Dawn of War 3 is getting a four issue comic series to flesh out the lore and characters
- By Ash
- in News
Titan Comics, the company you might know from their involvement in the official Dark Souls comics and novels, recently announced that they will be tackling Dawn of War 3 as well. This isn't their first foray into Warhammer 40k, however, given that they currently have an ongoing series called Warhammer 40,000: Will of Iron, the first part of which you can read for free by heading over here.
As for Dawn of War 3, it will be getting a four issue comic mini-series in April 2017, focusing primarily on fleshing out the overarching lore and some of the characters you'll be killing meeting. The comics are being written by Ryan O'Sullivan (who penned the Eisenhorn: Xenos one-off comic, and the Turncoat series), and illustrated by Daniel Indro (who did artwork for Vikings: Uprising and a couple of Doctor Who series). Whether their work is actually any good, that I don't know, but what I can tell you is that some of the Dark Souls comics ended up being pretty solid, so my hopes are high for Dawn of War 3.
