XCOM 2's War of the Chosen expansion aims to greatly improve upon the original, while also adding a bunch of new storylines, enemies, and factions to deal with. Perhaps the most interesting of these newly announced factions are the Templars - powerful psionic warriors that are capable of decimating entire armies if they are given enough time to prepare. In many ways they are the human equivalent of a Protoss Zealot, and yes, this includes the awesome psi-blades!

If you're wondering what the Templars might look like, and more importantly, what sort of abilities they'll be able to bring to the battlefield, you'll find what you seek in the recently posted teaser trailer right below. Have a look, they're quite interesting:

Out of all the newly announced classes I have a feeling the Templars are going to end up being the strongest ones. They are somewhat limited in power by their focus mechanic, but if you can get around that the reward appears to be the utter annihilation of your enemies. I'm sure a lot of that was simply overplayed for the video's sake, but they are still the most interesting of the bunch while also having the always-awesome psi-blades, and as far as I'm concerned that's all they need!
