World of Warcraft devs are now finally rebalancing the overpowered Corrupted Gear

[Update]: Blizzard is now making it significantly easier to acquire Corrupted Gear.
In an effort to respond to players complaining about the random power boosts from titanforged gear, Blizzard implemented a brand new system with the Visions of N'Zoth update - corrupted gear. In theory, corrupted gear was supposed to be incredibly powerful, yet also risky to wear as the strongest pieces would give you debilitating effects until you leveled up your legendary cloak. A pretty neat idea, all things considered.
When it comes to reality, however, corrupted gear ended up being an even worse version of titanforging. Not only is corrupted gear acquired completely at random, but certain corruption effects are so ridiculously strong that they can account for 20-30% of a player's damage. So if you got lucky and landed on the right pieces, you could absolutely demolish your competition in both PvE and PvP. And if you didn't, well, sucks to be you!
Here Be Dragons is a satirical turn-based strategy about hunting legendary monsters

After spending a fairly short amount of time in Steam Early Access, Here Be Dragons has now been released in full. It brings with it a story dripping with satire, turn-based combat against a variety of legendary monsters of old, a bit of a strange world to navigate, as well as some rather charming visuals.
Since trying to explain that latter part through words alone is a bit of a pointless task, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer. It'll give you a pretty good idea of just what Here Be Dragons looks like, as well as what the actual gameplay is all about. Have a little peek:
Resident Evil 3 remake's recent trailer highlights the omnipresent threat of the tyrant Nemesis

[Update #2]: Resident Evil 3 and its companion Resident Evil 3 Resistance have been released, though sadly they don't seem to have lived up to the high standards set by Resident Evil 2.
[Update]: The newly released preview is all about Jill and the 'friends' she meets along the way.
After the extremely well made Resident Evil 2 remake, Capcom will be attempting to push things even further with Resident Evil 3 this April 3rd. That's not going to be easy, however, as Nemesis will need to be an even more impressive and terrifying threat than Resident Evil 2's rather dapper Mr. X!
While the details about Nemesis are still few and far between, especially when it comes to his behavior now that there are no load zones, you can get a bit of a sneak peek at what the big boy has to offer through one of the recently posted trailers. Have a gander:
After nearly 10 years in development, Kentucky Route Zero is now finally complete

If you've Kickstarted Kentucky Route Zero all the way back in the ancient times of 2011, you can now breathe a sigh of relief. It may have taken quite a while, but the fifth episode has now been released in full. In other words, Kentucky Route Zero is finally complete!
For those of you that haven't played, or even heard about Kentucky Route Zero, it's probably best explained as a highly atmospheric and often experimental adventure game. It's one of those games where you want to shut yourself off from the outside world, cuddle up with a warm coffee, and just play through it an episode at a time. Kentucky Route Zero really is quite an experience, especially if you're a fan of story-heavy games.

Assimilation, Apex Legends' massive Season 4 update, is set to arrive later today (February 4th). It'll bring with it the deadly Revenant as a new legend, a new battle pass filled with a whole bunch of flashy cosmetics, a new bolt-action sniper rifle, and most importantly of all, drastic changes to the World's Edge map.
You can get a bit of an idea of what all of this looks like in action, as well as what Revenant's abilities might be, through the recently posted gameplay trailer. Have a gander, it's a pretty fun video:
Warcraft 3: Reforged devs have now addressed some of the community concerns

[Update]: Blizzard has now started offering full refunds for Warcraft 3: Reforged, though it's unclear how long this offer will last.
After a lengthy beta test, Warcraft 3: Reforged released a short while ago. Unfortunately, instead of getting a whole new generation of players hooked onto Warcraft 3, Reforged launched with quite a few problems and missing features.
While the model quality for the newly updated units is fairly solid, the art style isn't exactly consistent so certain characters just look a bit... off. There are also problems with the performance with multiplayer matches occasionally stuttering for no reason, and there is also a noticeable lack of community-focused features like profiles, tournaments and leaderboards. So as you might imagine, the Warcraft 3 community isn't exactly happy with Blizzard right now.
Torchlight Frontiers has been heavily redesigned and will be releasing as Torchlight 3

[Update]: After only a few months in Early Access, Torchlight 3 has now been unleashed onto PC and consoles.
Torchlight Frontiers was originally supposed to be a free-to-play action RPG following in the footsteps of the first two Torchlight games. However, if the feedback coming from the closed test is any indicator, Torchlight Frontiers was a bit unfocused and just not all that fun to actually play.
As such, I am very happy to say that Torchlight Frontiers is getting heavily redesigned and subsequently rebranded as Torchlight 3. Besides simply swapping the name, Torchlight 3 will be a paid game with no in-game microtransactions, and will feature a more classic Act structure like the previous games. Most importantly of all, you'll be able to play both offline and online, though your offline characters won't be able to go online due to obvious concerns about cheating.
