World of Warcraft: Classic official artwork showing off Ragnaros

[Update]: World of Warcraft: Classic is now also getting the legendary Alterac Valley battleground!

If you've been lucky enough to score a World of Warcraft: Classic beta key, you'll be glad to hear that the level cap has now been increased to 40. In other words, not only will you now have access to a bunch of new zones, you will also be able to purchase your very first (and also very expensive) mount!

As far as the new zones are concerned, you will now be able to level up in places like Stranglethorn Vale, Desolance, Arathi Highlights, and more. Personally, I'd highly recommend going to Stranglethorn Vale as not only is it one of the most interesting zones out of the bunch, but it's also likely to be a hive of PvP activity!

Speaking of which, this update has also closed down the doors to Warsong Gulch. There's no need to worry if you're a PvP player, however, as Blizzard will now be opening Arathi Basin for public testing! There will be no pre-made characters though, so if you would like to participate, make sure you're at least level 20.

That's pretty much everything you need to know, but if you're interested in all of the details you should head on over to the announcement post. Have fun leveling, and good luck in the green hills of Stranglethorn!
