During the recent TennoCon convention Warfarme developers announced a whole bunch of new and upcoming features. You can expect to see the usual batch of new weapons, Warframes, Prime Warframes, and cosmetics, though all of that pales in comparison to the Plains of Eidolon - a brand new expansion centered entirely around MMO-like open-world content with plenty of replayability.

The first of these massive open-world zones will be the Plains of Eidolon, an area populated by traditional enemies such as the Grineer during the day, and rather enormous monstrosities known as the Eidolons throughout the night. If you're wondering what all of this nonsense might look like in-game, wonder no more as the Warframe developers have now released an extended gameplay preview. Have a look, its quite interesting:

The Plains of Eidolon will be coming at some point in 2017 to both PC and consoles, though no specific date has been given just yet. Similarly, there aren't that many gameplay details to share as of right now, but if you would like to learn just a little bit more I would recommend going to the official TennoCon recap. And since I can offer you very little else in terms of useful information, allow me to send you off with one of the earlier gameplay previews, just in case you missed it. Enjoy!
