[Update #2]: Vermintide 2 will be adding Sienna's completely unexpected Necromancer career on October 19th.

[Update]: Vermintide 2 has added three lengthy (and free) maps based on the original's Karak Azgaraz DLC.

In celebration of the series' seventh anniversary back in November, the Vermintide 2 team released the snow-covered Trail of Treachery map to herald the beginning of a two-part adventure. A fair few months have gone by since then, but I'm happy to say that the second part, Tower of Treachery, has now finally arrived to give us a bit of an idea of what Sienna's somber sister is even trying to accomplish.

Without wasting more time, allow me to share with you the launch trailer. It should give you a pretty good idea of what the Tower of Treachery map is about, as well as how cool it all really looks. Have a peek:

I won't go into any details in an effort to avoid spoilers, but the end of the Tower of Treachery map does feature brand new enemies! Whether these are going to become a new faction we'll have to fight against in some future DLC, or if this is simply a one-off event, that I'm afraid I don't know. Either way, it's always nice to see the Vermintide 2 team experiment with new ideas!

If you care about making your characters look as fancy as possible, it's also worth mentioning that Fatshark has released ten premium cosmetic items themed after various heroes and important figures from the Warhammer world. So if you think Kerillian is insufferable right now, imagine how full of herself she's going to be while cosplaying as the literal queen of elves (pictured below)!

Have fun with the new level, and I'll make sure to let you know once the Vermintide 2 team announces anything else. Hopefully that 'anything else' is going to be Sienna's long-awaited fourth career, because we sure have been waiting for a while!
