The Crew 2 is an open-world racing game where you can explore a scaled-down recreation of the United States with a variety of vehicles such as cars, airplanes, boats, and so forth. I'm not a racing game fan so I haven't played it myself, but from what I can see online there is a rather large divide between those that enjoy the open world exploration and those that hate the apparently unrealistic controls and lack of customization. So if you're thinking about grabbing The Crew 2, I would highly recommend doing a bit more research before springing for your wallet, just to be on the safe side.
