Assassin's Creed Odyssey screenshot of a large-scale ship battle

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is set to arrive this October 5th, bringing with it a much greater degree of choice than the previous Assassin's Creed games. There will be various dialogue options to go through, two entirely different factions to ally yourself with, branching quests, multiple endings, and as is tradition, a giant world to explore by either land or sea.

If you're wondering whether your PC will even be able to run all of this, as well as what sort of performance you can expect to see, you might be interested to hear that Ubisoft has now released the minimum and recommended PC system requirements. Have a look:

Besides the ability to enhance the visuals, the PC version of Assassin's Creed Odyssey will also include benchmark tools to help you test different graphics settings, as well as the option to toggle dynamic resolution rendering in order to uncap the framerate. Relatively minor features in the grand scheme of things, but certainly nice to have around.

Finally, allow me to leave you with the latest teaser trailer. It's not the most detailed video around, but it should at least give you a good idea of what sort of visuals your PC will be sweating over. Enjoy!
