[Update]: Total War: Troy and its Amazons DLC have now made their way to macOS as well.

If you grabbed yourself a free copy of Total War: Troy but couldn't play it due to it being unavailable for macOS, I come bearing good news! According to Feral Interactive, the macOS version of Total War: Troy will be landing this Thursday, October 8th.

This also includes the brand new Amazons DLC, which brings with it two new leaders (Penthesilea and Hippolyta) with unique playstyles, as well as a fun twist on unit recruitment where you have to slowly upgrade your units through battles rather than simply purchase them. The Amazons DLC is also still free to grab, so if you haven't done it already, you might want to get on that before it goes up to its full price.

As far as system requirements are concerned, the new version of Total War: Troy will require macOS 10.15.6, and will be supported on the following Macs:

All 13" MacBook Airs released since 2020
All 13" MacBook Pros released since 2016
All 15" MacBook Pros released since 2016
All 16" MacBook Pros released since 2019
All 21.5" iMacs released since 2017
All 27" iMacs released since Late 2014
All 27" iMac Pros released since Late 2017
All Mac Pros released since Late 2013

Once the macOS version goes live I'll make sure to let you know, but until then I'll leave you with a brief trailer for the Amazons. Enjoy!
