Torment: Tides of Numenera is an isomeric, story-focused RPG and a spiritual successor to one of the best games that have ever graced the genre - Planescape: Torment. While it is by no means perfect, mostly because the combat system is extremely dull and imbalanced, I still had a great deal of fun with Tides of Numenera, so if you're a fan of the genre I would say its worth giving a look.

As such, I am glad to announce that Torment: Tides of Numenera is now free to try out on Steam for the next 26 hours! Its not a lot of time for an RPG, especially not one that has this much story to go through, but it should still give you a good idea of what to expect from Tides of Numenera.

If you find yourself enjoying it, however, you'll also be glad to hear that Tides of Numenera will be on a 56% discount until November 1st. All of your progress will carry over to the full game, so feel free to take as long as you want with the trial version before deciding whether you want to continue or not.
