The Wonderful 101: Remastered official artwork without logo

A little while ago, PlatinumGames announced that they need a little bit of extra funding in order to self-publish The Wonderful 101: Remastered. To achieve this goal, they set up a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign asking for an oddly specific but still quite reasonable $49,312.

They may have slightly underestimated just how many people would be interested in The Wonderful 101: Remastered, however, as the community managed to blow past all of the stretch goals and raise an impressive $1,446,295 in a mere few days! Because of this, the remaster will not only be releasing on the Nintendo Switch, but also on the PlayStation 4 and PC!

One would assume the presence of two new versions would make the whole project take a little while longer to complete, but that doesn't appear to be the case whatsoever. As such, you can expect to see The Wonderful 101: Remastered on all three platforms on May 19 in North America, May 22 in Europe and June 11 in Japan. All things considered, that's a pretty impressive turn-around from Kickstarter to release!

You can learn more about The Wonderful 101: Remastered, as well as follow any further PlatinumGames update, over at Kickstarter. And with that said, I'll leave you with the one of the rather lengthy original trailers. Enjoy!
