Even though Telltale itself is gone, things are looking pretty good for most of its series. The Walking Dead's final season got finished thanks to Robert Kirkman's Skybound Games, The Wolf Among Us 2 has recently been announced as under development, and now we're getting news that Telltale's Batman series is getting a brand new edition!

The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition, besides being a somewhat poor title, is a collection of both seasons of Telltale's Batman series, along with a "Shadows Mode" that gives the games a bit of a noir aesthetic. The full version will set you back $30, while current owners will be able to purchase the Shadows Mode DLC for $5.

As for the release date, no information has been revealed just yet given that this whole announcement was accidentally posted and quickly removed by Athlon Games. However, according to the quotes Gematsu managed to catch, it seems we'll be getting the Batman collection in the near future.

Personally, I'm actually quite excited for this because the second season of Telltale's Batman series has been phenomenal. It features some genuinely difficult choices that result in wildly different story branches, to the point that Episode 5 is almost entirely different depending on how you played up until that point. So even though Telltale may be gone, I can only hope the success of The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition will also bring us a third season at some point in the future!

Once more information becomes available I'll make sure to let you know.
