After being announced only back in April, the remastered version of the destruction-focused shooter Red Faction Guerrilla has now arrived for both PC and consoles. As you might expect from any modern remaster, the new version brings with it heavily reworked graphics, improved shadow rendering and lighting, new shaders and postprocessing options, and naturally, support for all sorts of wide-screen resolutions.

If you're just wondering what all of this looks like in-game, wonder no more as the devs have released a short but explosive gameplay trailer. Have a gander, it should give you a decent idea of what to expect:

Perhaps most importantly of all, everyone who already owns the 2009 version of Red Faction Guerrilla on Steam will automatically receive the Re-Mars-tered Edition for free! If for some reason you prefer the old version, worry not as it is still fully available for everyone to enjoy. In fact, you will get it as a little bonus when you purchase the Re-Mars-tered edition, which really should be the standard for any sort of remaster.
