L.A. Noire screenshot of a shadowy figure

Rockstar recently announced that a remastered version of L.A. Noire will be coming to modern consoles with a variety of audio and visual enhancements, including things such as 4K support for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. While the PC version was not mentioned in the original announcement, chances are these improvements will also be heading our way somewhere down the line.

As you'll see in the most recent trailer, the graphical improvements aren't exactly massive, so hopefully the remaster will bring with it better performance and loading times as well. But enough babbling from me. You'll find the video right below, just make sure to go full screen on a 4K enabled monitor to get the best viewing experience. Have a look:

Its worth mentioning that L.A. Noire will also be coming to the HTC Vive, though in a much more streamlined form. It will feature only seven of the original self-contained cases from L.A. Noire, but on the positive side they will all be rebuilt specifically with virtual reality in mind. I would love to tell you more, but I'm afraid there simply isn't much information available right now. The only thing I can tell you is that both versions will be coming on November 14th. You can follow their development, as well as learn a tiny bit more, over at the official website.
