Octopath Traveler screenshot from the PC version

If you're in the mood for an oldschool JRPG, you might be interested to hear that Square Enix's previously Switch-exclusive Octopath Traveler will be coming to PC on June 7th. Square Enix hasn't announced whether the PC version will bring with it any additional features or content, but given that the Switch version is relatively new and fairly polished, I wouldn't be surprised if they simply release it with support for higher resolutions.

As far as Octopath Traveler itself is concerned, you can get a bit of an idea of what to expect through one of the recently posted trailers. Have a gander, it's quite a charming one:

The price and the system requirements have not been revealed just yet either, but what I can tell you is that you will need a 64-bit processor and operating system in order to run Octopath Traveler. That said, Ocotopath Traveler has mostly gone for style over pure visual fidelity, so unless your PC is practically ancient, I wouldn't exactly worry about the system requirements being out of your reach.

You can learn a little bit more about Octopath Traveler, as well as follow its journey to PC moving forward, by hopping over to Steam.
