Ys: Memories of Celceta official artwork and logo

Given how poorly Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana ran on PC when it first launched, I am quite delighted to announce that the PC port of Ys: Memories of Celceta has now arrived without any major issues! What it did arrive with, however, is the usual batch of PC-exclusive features: support for a variety of resolutions, an unlocked frame rate, and naturally, fully customizable controls. For those of you that like an additional challenge, the PC version also features a brand new Boss Rush mode.

You can get a bit of a peek at what all of this looks like in-game through the recently posted trailer. It's not exactly long, but it should help answer some of the basic questions you might have about Memories of Celceta. Have a look:

I haven't played it myself so I can't go into any details, but if you would like to learn more about Ys: Memories of Celceta you should head on over to the official website or Steam.

That said, if you're worried about jumping into a series that has been going on for quite a while, worry not as all of the Ys games are fairly self-contained. There's going to be some references that fly straight over your head, but that's pretty much it. So if you're interested, don't let the fear of missing out prevent you from checking Memories of Celceta out... or any of the other Ys games for that matter.

Have fun!
