After a whole bunch of sequels, spin-offs and even MMOs, the Monster Hunter series is now celebrating a rather momentous occasion - its fifteenth anniversary! While I can't speak of the previous games as I've sadly never played them, I am happy to say that the series is currently in an extremely good spot with Monster Hunter: World, and is likely only going to get better once the Iceborne expansion finally arrives!

When it comes to the future, however, I am afraid Capcom has not announced anything just yet. All I can really tell you is that the console version of Monster Hunter: World's Iceborne expansion will arrive this autumn, while the PC version will be coming at a later date.

On the positive side, there is plenty of content currently available for Monster Hunter: World on PC, so whether you're completely new to the series or took a little break like I did, this would be a pretty good time to check it out and see what's new. Good luck out there!
