The PC, console, and Linux versions of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided have been available for a very, very long time now. However, while the Mac version was planned to arrive shortly after launch alongside the Linux one, it was unfortunately delayed due to its reliance on an upcoming update. Quite a lot of time has passed since then, but if you're still waiting for the Mac version of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, I am very glad to say that it has now finally arrived on Steam!

As with most ports these days, the Mac version was developed by Feral Interactive. If you don't know them by name, you might recognize them from their work on the Mac and Linux versions of Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2, XCOM 2, Mad Max, Tomb Raider, Dawn of War 3, and the list goes on. So far they've had a pretty spotless record, and while I haven't seen any reviews just yet, chances are the Mac version is of high quality as well.

In terms of supported devices, here's what you'll need in order to run Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on Mac:

Full Support

All 15" MacBook Pros released since late 2016

All 21.5" Retina 4K iMacs released since 2017

All 27" Retina 5K iMacs released since late 2014

All Mac Pros released since late 2013

Partial Support

15" Retina MacBook Pro released in mid 2015 with an AMD Radeon R9 M370X

The final thing worth mentioning is that if you currently own a PC version of Mankind Divided, you do not need to buy it again in order to play on Linux or Mac. Steam has a rather nifty feature that lets you access all three versions by purchasing just one of them, so if you already own Mankind Divided you can simply download the Mac version and start playing instantly.

If you need a little bit of a refresher on the Deus Ex storyline, allow me to leave you with one of the early trailers for Mankind Divided. Enjoy!
