Call of Duty: WWII Nazi Zombies screenshot

While I'm by no means a fan of the Call of Duty series, the zombies side-mode has a very special place in my heart. As such, I am very glad to say that Call of Duty: WWII appears to be bringing with it some massive improvements to the concept, especially when it comes to the design of the zombies themselves.

If you're wondering what exactly I mean, you'll find your answers in the recently posted trailer down below. Its not overly long, but its definitely worth checking out if you're into co-op horde modes. Have a look:

I obviously don't know if this is true, but it seems to me that the developers have taken quite a few pointers from Killing Floor 2. The zombies are no longer just oddly colored people with a body part or two missing, there is a lot more detail to them now. Some have obviously been experimented on, others still have weapons embedded in them, a couple even have barbed wire stuck around their neck, and that's just what I noticed amidst all of the fast-cuts in the video. These details might not matter when it comes to gameplay, but it sure does make them a lot creepier and more interesting to fight.

Call of Duty: WWII and its corresponding Nazi Zombies will be coming on November 3rd for all platforms. If you would like to learn more, or just check out some of the other gameplay videos, I would suggest heading over to the official website.
