Agony game screenshot of a demon with a mouth for its head

Agony is an upcoming survival-horror game set in one of the most fitting locations for the genre - a rather twisted depiction of hell itself. As you might expect from the setting, you won't be punching any trees or crafting bows in order to survive. Instead, you will need to sneak around a variety of bloodthirsty demons, explore a twisted and often confusing hellscape, and perhaps most interestingly of all, posses lesser demons in order to bypass obstacles and potentially fatal situations.

If all of this sounds like something you would love to check out, you'll be glad to hear that Agony now finally has an actual release date. If everything goes according to plan you'll be able to go on a leisurely stroll through hell itself this March 30th on both PC and consoles. It's a little bit later than what was initially announced, but as long as the gameplay is solid I don't think anyone is going to mind waiting a few more months.

Since trying to explain a survival-horror game through words alone is a bit of a pointless task, allow me to leave you with one of the most recent gameplay videos. It's a fairly lengthy preview so it should give you a good idea of what Agony is about and how exactly it plays. Enjoy, and if you're looking for some more information I'd recommend heading over to the official website.
