Humble Telltale Bundle is offering many classic adventure games on the cheap

Once upon a time Telltale was a small indie company that was almost singlehandedly holding the narrative-driven point & click genre from the brink of oblivion, a notion that sounds insane these days given the popularity of The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and many others.

But if you're among those that haven't experienced the wonder hidden within these games, you're in luck as the Humble Telltale Bundle is offering 11+ mostly excellent games for $12, which is quite the bargain for the amount of existential dread they will cause you.

If you would prefer to shop on a bit of a budget I would recommend going for the $7,83 tier as it will give you the very best Telltale has to offer: The Walking Dead Season 1 + DLC, Sam & Max, The Wolf Among Us, and The Tales from the Borderlands.

Every single one of these games is a masterpiece and well worth the time and effort to complete, so if you consider yourself as someone that enjoys deep and compelling stories, then by all means grab this bundle. More titles will be retroactively added next week, but even without those I would say that this is one of the best Humble Bundles I've seen in quite a while.

Telltale's The Walking Dead Season 1 is a masterpice

The Walking Dead Season 1 will take you on an emotional rollecoaster

As for the final tier, I have slightly mixed opinions about it. The Walking Dead Season 2 is a great game, just not as good as Season 1, but the Game of Thrones series left me with a bad taste in my mouth as the characters came and went without rime or reason, and the plot was barely coherent. If you plan on grabbing this tier, do make sure to do your research first.

When it comes to the payment, its up to you to decide how much will go to the developers, Humble Bundle itself, or a charity organisation of your choice (and there is plenty of them to chose from).

Enjoy the games!
