If you're looking for a blast from the past, you might want to give the most recent Humble "Day of the Devs" Bundle a look as it comes with some great oldschool adventure games. There's Grim Fandango Remastered, Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Full Throttle Remastered, as well as a variety of other indie games.

I haven't played any of the supplementary games, so I won't comment about them, but I will say that Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle are well worth the price of admission alone, provided you enjoy the adventure game genre anyway. I'm not as keen on Full Throttle as its gameplay has aged extremely poorly, so if you're looking for the best bang for your buck I would say go with the second tier.
