Okami is an action-adventure quite similar to The Legend of Zelda series, though with couple of unique twists that really set it apart from the rest of the genre. For example, instead of being a young warrior that beats up enemies with a combination of sword and shield, in Okami you play as an adorable wolf god that has to quite literally paint her enemies out of existence. It's a bit of a silly concept, but when combined with some great music and artwork it's one that creates a truly memorable adventure.

If any of that sounds like something you would love to check out, you'll be glad to hear that the HD version of Okami has now made its way to PC and consoles. The list of new features isn't very long, but the combination of spruced-up visuals and support for widescreen resolutions should make it quite pleasing on the eyes. Speaking of which, here's the recently posted trailer, just so you get a brief idea of what Okami is all about:

While there aren't any gameplay issues to speak of, it is important to mention that the port has been locked to 30 FPS. Whether there's going to be some sort of fix in the future like there was with Dark Souls, I'm afraid I simply don't know, but what I can tell you is that the relatively low framerate does not seem to have much of an effect on the gameplay. So if you don't mind locking yourself to 30 FPS, Okami HD is well worth a look.

If you would like to learn a little bit more about Okami before making a decision, or just grab yourself a copy for €20, you should head on over to Steam. Have fun!
