The Elder Scrolls Online MMORPG will be heading over to Elsweyr this June 4th, with an early access period starting on May 20th. Besides giving players a chance to explore the Khajiit homeland, the Elsweyr expansion will also bring in a storyline filled with dragons, new dungeons and world bosses to conquer, as well as a brand new class to play around with - the Necromancer.

While I'm not impressed by some of the spell animations, the overall theme behind the Necromancer class seems to be really solid. I especially love how the NPCs react to you using forbidden magic, something that not even modern RPGs really take into account when adding some of the more 'out there' classes. I can only hope these sort of loving touches will be coming to the vanilla classes as well, because after a few expansions they have really started falling behind in terms of design.
