If you're a fan of over-the-top action and characters wielding absolutely ridiculous weaponry, you might want to pay attention to the recently released Berserk and the Band of the Hawk. In the most basic of terms it is a hybrid between the Dynasty Warriors series and the Berserk universe, and if you're familiar with either of those you're probably aware that this involves hacking and slashing through thousands of poor fools dumb enough to stand in your way.

Since trying to explain all of this through words alone is a bit pointless, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer. It doesn't feature much in terms of gameplay, but it should give you a pretty damn good idea of what to expect. Anyway, here's the video:

If you're like me and you were worried this would be some sort of cheap cash-in, worry not as apparently its actually good. I haven't had the time to play it myself, so take all of this with a grain of salt, but the reviews online have so far been overwhelmingly positive. So if you're a fan of the Warriors series, and ideally Berserk as well, you might just have a blast with Berserk and the Band of the Hawk as well.
