The Division launched alongside a fair bit of criticism, a lot which was deserved as the beginning and ending portions were simply too tedious for the majority of players to enjoy. In most cases that would've been the end of the story, but Ubisoft took the time and effort needed in order to not only improve upon The Division's problems, but also add a whole bunch of new content to explore as well! It's still not my cup of tea, but even I have to admit that The Division is now an actually enjoyable game.
As such, if you ever wanted to give it a try, now would be a very good time to do so as Ubisoft is currently celebrating The Division's second anniversary and 20 million players! Naturally, that number includes all of the active and inactive accounts throughout The Division's history, but it's still a pretty darn impressive number, especially when you consider that 500,000 of those players have each spent more than 400 hours roaming NYC. Now that is some dedication!
And what better way to celebrate The Division's anniversary than with a whole bunch of Global Events filled with loot and cosmetic goodies! The first one has just recently expired, but there are still three more scheduled throughout this month, so if you're hungry for loot worry not as there is still plenty to go around. Here's when you can expect to see them:

If you're interested in even more rewards, you might want to tune into the official stream on Twitch as your hours watched will directly translate into in-game prizes. For example, by watching 30 minutes you will be able to get 3 Cypher Keys, while watching for an hour will net you The Asher vanity outfit. However, in order to even receive these items you will need to connect your Ubisoft account with your Twitch account first - a fairly simple process.
