[Update #2]: We finally have a date! The Dead Space remake will be launching onto PC and consoles on January 27th, 2023!

[Update]: Motive Studio are now also working on an Iron Man single-player action-adventure.

Almost a year has gone by since the big Dead Space remake was announced, and I'm afraid another year will go by before we can actually get our hands on it. According to the freshly posted developer update, the Dead Space remake will be heading to PC, PlayStation and Xbox in early 2023.

I can't tell you much about the actual improvements as pretty much no details have been revealed just yet, but what I can say is that the upcoming Dead Space will be a full remake of the original with a focus on offering a deeper and more immersive experience. So while the Dead Space remake will follow the same story and rough structure as the original, expect to see some diversions like in the excellent Resident Evil 2 remake.

If you're really excited for the Dead Space remake and want to gleam even a few tidbits of new information, allow me to share with you the recent and audio-focused developer stream. There's very little actual gameplay on display, but it's still an interesting watch if you're a fan of peeking behind the curtains of game development.

Once more details become available, ideally alongside the first actual gameplay preview, I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, you can keep an eye on any teasers or developer updates over at the Dead Space website.
