Telltale's The Walking Dead: The Final Season screenshot of grown up Clementine

After following Clementine's journey for around six years now, Telltale is finally getting ready to conclude the whole storyline with The Walking Dead: Season 4. The details are currently few and far inbetween, but judging by the recently posted trailer it would appear that the fourth and final season will have a much more somber and depressing tone than the previous ones.

I'd rather not ruin the reveal by trying to explain it through words alone, so if you're interested in seeing what exactly Season 4 will be about, make sure to check out the recently posted trailer down below. It's a fairly brief video, but it's quite an intriguing one regardless. Have a gander:

Given the tone and the relationship that mirrors the one from Season 1, I have a feeling that Telltale is trying to prepare us for Clementine's potential demise. That said, having a repeat of the exact same story would be a bit too predictable and boring, so it's also entirely possible that Clementine makes it out alive, though almost certainly as a different person than she is now.

Whether any of that is correct or not, I'm afraid we'll have to wait for a little while in order to find out as Telltale's The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be premiering on August 14th. Once more information comes in I'll make sure to let you now, but you can also keep an eye out for yourself by visiting the official website. As for right now, all we can really do is wait and hope that Clementine listened to our advice from Season 1!
