Telltale recently announced brand new seasons for The Walking Dead, Batman, and The Wolf Among Us adventure game series, and in order to celebrate they've basically been having non-stop sales for a couple of weeks now. There was recently a sale on Steam, the first episode of Game of Thrones has become entirely free, and there is even a massive Humble Bundle filled to the brim with modern Telltale games (24 hours remaining as of time of writing).

If you've somehow managed to miss all of these sales, worry not as GOG is currently offering most of Telltale's modern catalog at a sizable discount. So if you ever wanted to play some of Telltale's classics such as The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands, The Wolf Among Us, or Sam & Max, now would be a really good time to do so.

Personally, I would recommend the first season of The Walking Dead as it has by far the most compelling story and characters, as well as an ending so emotional I still think about it to this very day. The second game on my list, as you would except given that I've mentioned it twice already, is The Wolf Among Us. On first glance it might seem like a generic and gritty detective story, but in reality its actually incredibly compelling and full of lifelike characters... despite all of them coming from fairy tales.

While those two games are rightfully considered classics, the actual gameplay found within is not exactly challenging... or even engaging. So if you're looking for a combination of intriguing storytelling and equally intriguing gameplay, I would suggest you give the Puzzle Agent games a try. Chances are you'll frequently get stuck on some truly nasty puzzles, but the story is so bizarrely captivating that I can almost guarantee you will persevere, if only to find out what happens next. But whatever you end up grabbing, I hope you have fun with it!
