Star Wars Battlefront's Bespin expansion and the Cloud City

Star Wars Battlefront's Bespin expansion is coming out tomorrow for those among you that own the Season Pass. Everyone else, however, will only get a chance to explore the Cloud City in two weeks, though I wouldn't consider that too much of a downside given that you'll probably receive a bug-free product on account of everyone else beta-testing it for you.

If you're wondering what the Cloud City looks like in-game, and what all of the features are, here's the recently posted launch trailer. Fair warning though, this might be the least impressive action trailer I've seen in a while:

Star Wars Battlefront's Bespin expansion will include with it five new multiplayer maps set on the Cloud City (then again, where else would you put them on Bespin?), each of which featuring an iconic location from the universe. You can expect to see the Administrator's Palace, the Carbon Freezing Chambers, as well as somewhat obscure locations such as the Bioniip Laboratories which produce various cybernetic enhancements.

As you might expect, there are a couple of new heroes to play around with as well. The first one should be obvious, its everybody's second favorite smuggler Lando Calrissian, but the second hero, him I've never even heard about and the Battlefront website didn't enlighten me any further. Anyway, the second hero is Dengar, a cold-blooded bounty hunter with a rather "infamous" reputation.

On the more practical side of things we have a newly added vehicle, the Cloud Car, as well as a whole array of intergalactic pistols and gadgets to shake up the close quarters gameplay with. If you're interested in all of the details I would suggest heading over to the official website, its all neatly laid out there for you to peruse.

Finally, if you would like to get your hands on Bespin as soon as possible, the only way to do so would be to grab the Season Pass. Its currently on a bit of a discount, though it will still set you back a sizable €40 for the whole thing, so do make sure to do a bit of research before jumping in wallet first.
