[Update]: The Fallen God expansion has just arrived, and so far the user reviews are looking quite good.

If you love a bit of smashing and bashing in your strategy games, you might want to keep an eye on SpellForce 3's Fallen God standalone expansion. It'll be arriving this November 3rd with a brand new faction in tow - the nomadic, highly aggressive Trolls that are more than eager to flatten anyone that dares encroach upon their lands.

For those of you wondering just how angry the trolls are, as well as what their campaign will be all about, that you can find out through the recently posted and rather brief trailer. Have a peek, it sets up the Trolls rather nicely:

The expansion will also bring with it a massive new continent to explore, a lengthy singleplayer campaign, as well as a whole bunch of choices that will greatly impact your characters and their abilities. All of these choices will eventually feed into a variety of different endings, which combined with full Steam Workshop integration, should make the Fallen God expansion last for quite a while if you're willing to get invested into its world.
