After a plethora of well-edited trailers, Shadow of the Tomb Raider has now finally made its way to both PC and consoles. Perhaps most importantly, it has done so alongside some highly favorable reviews, so much so that it currently holds a 95% approval rating on Steam. Chances are this will go down once the post-launch hype settles in, but it is still a momentous achievement, and one that's worthy of praise.

If you're curious about what exactly Shadow of the Tomb Raider brings to the table, as well as what the various Mayan ruins look like in-game, you'll find the answers you seek in the launch trailer down below. Have a gander:

I haven't played it myself so take the following with a few grains of salt, but from what I can figure out it would appear that Shadow of the Tomb Raider quite firmly falls into the "more of the same, but better" category. So if you're a fan of the previous two Tomb Raider games and you're looking for a brand new world to explore, chances are quite high you'll have a blast with Shadow of the Tomb Raider as well. On the other hand, if you hated the previous two games, I'm not exactly sure Shadow of the Tomb Raider will have enough different features going for it to truly change your mind.

Whatever the case may be, I would highly recommend visiting the official website or Steam to learn more. Have fun stopping the apocalypse!
