Ana from Overwatch looking pretty badass

If you're anywhere near the next skill tier in Overwatch you might want to do one last push as the end of Season 3 is drawing ever-closer. More specifically, Season 3 of Competitive Play will be concluding this February 21st at 4:00pm PST / February 22nd at 0:00 UTC. As for Season 4, it will launch after a week-long interlude on February 28th at 4:00pm PST / March 1st at 0:00 UTC.

Your rewards, much like how it worked in the past, will be based on the highest rating you've achieved this season, so don't be afraid to continue playing even if you've reached your goal for this month. And if you're wondering how much Competitive Points awaits you in the future, here's a brief breakdown of what each skill tier brings to the table:

SR 1-1499 (Bronze): 100 Competitive Points

SR 1500-1999 (Silver): 200 Competitive Points

SR 2000-2499 (Gold): 400 Competitive Points

• SR 2500-2999 (Platinum): 800 Competitive Points

SR 3000-3499 (Diamond): 1200 Competitive Points

SR 3500-3999 (Master): 2000 Competitive Points

SR 4000-5000 (Grandmaster): 3000 Competitive Points

While all of this is fairly standard stuff at this point, there is one tiny little quote from the announcement that you might find particularly interesting: "Throughout Season 3, we’ve been listening to the community and modifying our plans based on your feedback. We’re always excited about the future of Competitive Play, and we'll be talking more about Season 4 in the coming weeks."

The start of each season has so far brought with it some significant improvements to the game, and judging by the quote above it appears that Season 4 will be no different. What exactly these changes will be, I don't have the faintest clue, but I truly hope its a brand new system to combat trolls and overly toxic players. The current report system just isn't adequate enough to deal with repeat offenders, if it even does anything at all. But whatever the case may be, we'll find out all of the details soon enough. Until then, good luck with the climb, you still have a week left!
