Saints Row: The Third - Remastered official artwork without logo

If you're itching for a completely insane open-world experience, you might be glad to hear that a remastered version of the already excellent Saints Row: The Third has now been unleashed onto PC and consoles. It brings with it greatly improved character models and visual effects, a brand new lighting engine to help everything stand out, as well as all 30 DLC items to mess around with.

You can get a pretty good idea of what all of this madness looks like in-game through the recently posted launch trailer. Have a peek, it's quite an explosive one:

While I haven't played it myself just yet, I am pleased to say that the reception to the remaster appears to be extremely positive across the board. Not only is Saints Row: The Third itself fun to play, but the remaster has really gone above and beyond when it comes to sprucing up the visuals. These aren't just slightly higher quality textures we're talking about - many of them seem to have been remade from the ground up, and the difference in visual fidelity is astonishing for what is essentially just a remaster!

So if you're even remotely curious about Saints Row: The Third, the remastered edition seems to be the one you should look into. I'd personally start with the official website and go on from there.

Have fun smacking people with the giant, purple dildo bat - because we all know you're going to do just that!
