In an announcement that shouldn't come as too much of a surprise given the radio silence surrounding the game, Embark Studios have now revealed that their free-to-play, robot-smashing shooter ARC Raiders has been delayed. While there is still no exact release date, you can expect to see ARC Raiders make its way onto PC, PlayStation and Xbox at some point in 2023.

"ARC Raiders is an ambitious game, and we will be using this extra time to expand the experience, and allow it to reach its fullest potential," reads the brief update. "We will be diving into more details as soon as we start to test the game more extensively with players."

When exactly these tests will happen, as well as what you'll need to do in order to enter them, has not been announced just yet. As such, I think it's safe to say we're going to have to wait for a fair few months before getting a chance to dismantle some massive murderbots.
