Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality artwork

[Update]: High On Life is a remarkably entertaining (and remarkably insane) FPS game from the co-creator of Rick and Morty.

Owlchemy Labs, the folks behind Job Simulator, have just announced that they are working on brand new VR game featuring everybody's favorite drunken scientist - Rick. From what is known so far, the newly announced Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rick-ality will only be available for the HTC Vive, though I'd imagine the other platforms will be soon to follow.

If you're wondering what sort of madness you can get up to with Virtual Rick-ality, you'll find an overly long 13-second trailer right below. And yes, there is indeed a plumbus present, everyone owns one after all! Have a look:

Since there is basically no information on the actual gameplay, here's a quote from the studio explaining how Virtual Rick-ality first came to be:

"We’ve been working in secret for months, optimizing plumbus physics and working on the intricacies of Rick’s flask. Now we’re ready to give you all a hint of what’s to come! (Spoiler alert: you can totally jump through portals in VR!)

This is truly a dream project for us. We’ve been huge fans of the franchise since the beginning. Working with Justin Roiland is hilarious, and he gets us. In fact, we first met serendipitously over our mutual love of Job Simulator, got drunk, ate Indian food, and then decided to make a video game together. And now we’re bringing the world of Rick and Morty to virtual life!"

If you're one of those weird people that don't base their opinions on a 10 second gameplay trailer, you'll be glad to hear that Virtual Rick-ality will be available for play during the upcoming San Diego Comic Con, July 21 - July 24 from 11am - 6pm.
