If you're in the mood to celebrate the holiday season in quite possibly the most inappropriate way possible, you're in luck as GOG is currently giving away the first two Postal games. The original Postal is free permanently and you can grab it whenever you want, while Postal 2 will only be available for free until December 18th.

Just to avoid any confusion, it is worth mentioning that claiming either copy will give you full access to it, even once the giveaway is over. You don't even need to install either of the games, simply add their keys to your GOG account and you'll be able to go on an insane rampage whenever you want.

Personally, if you're going to grab yourself a copy, I would recommend mostly sticking with Postal 2. The original Postal was a bit of a bizarre game when it first released, but these days it just doesn't have much to offer besides a bit of shock value.

Postal 2, however, has aged much better. It's still highly inappropriate and intentionally offensive, but also a lot more enjoyable to play as Running With Scissors have clearly put in a ton of work to make the world as fleshed out and interesting to explore as possible. So even though it's dated, you might want to consider giving it a try purely for the sandbox experience alone.

Have fun, and if you find yourself getting really into the Postal series, make sure to also check out Postal 4 which is currently in Early Access. But whatever you do, just don't seek out Postal 3 as that game is abhorrently bad and buggy beyond belief. Trust me, it's not worth it!
