Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy official artwork featuring Phoenix Wright himself

Despite the Phoenix Wright games being held in high regard by the general public, the series has unfortunately never made its way to PC. Well, that's not exactly true as there is an anime adaptation currently available on Steam, but when it comes to the actual games PC is sadly a bit of a wasteland.

As such, I'm quite pleased to say that the newly announced Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy will be coming to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch in early 2019! If you're not exactly sure what this entails, you might want to check out the latest trailer as it does a pretty good job of explaining what Phoenix Wright is all about. Have a look:

What sort of improvements the trilogy will bring with it, both in terms of gameplay and visuals, I'm afraid Capcom hasn't announced just yet. If you're willing to indulge a bit of speculation, however, then I think it's safe to assume that the we will be getting slightly improved graphics, nice and smooth 60 FPS, as well as support for resolutions up to 4K. Those are pretty much the go-to features when it comes to ports these days, and even though Phoenix Wright isn't as graphically demanding as most of the games out there, I do believe it'll get a fairly similar treatment.

Whether I'm correct or not, I suppose we'll find out soon enough as Capcom will be releasing more information in the near future. Once they do I'll make sure to let you know, though you can also keep an eye on the official website for any sort of updates. Before you dive in, just keep in mind that the current website is a bit of a mess, so don't expect to find any hidden details just yet.
