If you're like me and you've spent the past couple of days living comfortably under a rock, you may have missed a sneaky little Overwatch update. Rather than add a bunch of balance changes or cosmetics, Blizzard instead finally released the long-awaited fourth Control map - Oasis!

And for those of you wondering what Oasis might look like, you'll be happy to hear that Blizzard also released a brief preview video. On a slight side-note, I'd recommend turning up the sound a little bit before you dive in, because the Oasis soundtrack is pretty damn awesome! Anyway, here's the video:

As far as balance is concerned, I haven't encountered anything too egregious with Oasis, though obviously I've only had the chance to play it a couple of times in a competitive environment. The one thing I can say for certain is that Oasis favors aggressive compositions due to all of the flank routes and exposed objectives. Since there isn't much of a point to playing Reinhardt when you can get attacked from all sides, I'd recommend going with Winston and other such mobile heroes in order to best exploit all these side-routes and high places.

But if you don't feel like waiting for Oasis to show up in your Competitive or Quick Play rotation, worry not as Blizzard has also added it as a special Arcade option. So if you want to learn the map, and also collect a couple of freebie boxes, head on over to the Arcade. Have fun!
