[Update #2]: Overwatch 2's closed beta has now begun, and soon everyone will be able to jump in.

[Update]: Overwatch 2 devs have detailed the Doomfist and Orisa reworks ahead of the April 26th Closed Beta.

With the Overwatch 2 closed beta nearly upon us, Blizzard has now finally begun releasing some actually interesting new information. A short while ago they revealed Sojourn's backstory and motivation, and now they have detailed what exactly this new DPS hero is even capable of!

Without further ado, allow me to share with you the brief gameplay trailer showing off her abilities, as well as an equally brief rundown of what each of them really does. Have a look:

Railgun

• Primary fire: rapid firing projectiles that generate energy on impact
• Secondary fire: high-damage shot that consumes stored energy

Power slide

• Ground slide that can be canceled into a high jump

Disruptor shot

• Launches an energy shot that slows and deals damage to enemies within it

Overlock

• Railgun energy auto-charges for a short duration, and charged shots pierce enemies

The exact numbers have not been revealed just yet, not even in the lengthy developer stream that accompanied this announcement, but you can learn a few more tidbits about Sojourn and her playstyle by hopping over to the Overwatch 2 website.
