Obsidian's The Road to Eternity is a documentary detailing the whole development process behind Pillars of Eternity, with all of the highs and lows that come with such a massive project. It has been available for a while to a certain portion of Kickstarter backers, but now that its on Youtube the rest of us finally have a chance to check it out as well!

So if you love Pillars of Eternity, or just enjoy peeking behind the scenes, you'll find the full documentary down below. Do bear in mind that its well over an hour in length, so don't expect to watch all of it during your toilet break, but its well worth the time investment as you don't often get to see what exactly goes into making a game. On a slightly unrelated note, if you enjoy Pillars of Eternity may I also suggest you pick up Obsidian's latest RPG - Tyranny. You can find my full review by heading over here, but long story short, it is one of the rare few RPGs that dares explore some of the darker, more mature topics out there. And while the combat may have been disappointing, the lore and the characters have been so enticing to me that I've managed to binge through the entire game within three days. In other words, if you're a fan of RPGs that focus primarily on storytelling and character interaction, you're probably going to enjoy Tyranny as well.
