Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered official artwork and logo

If you're a fan of the 2010 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and wish to explore a slightly improved version of it, you'll be happy to hear that Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered has now landed onto PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. A Nintendo Switch version is also on the way, though that one will be arriving next week, on November 13th.

As for the actual improvements, I'm afraid there aren't that many. You can expect to see new achievements, cosmetics, an updated photo mode and gallery, some minor quality of life fixes and visual improvements, as well as every single DLC already bundled in.

What all of this looks like in actual gameplay, that you can find out through the recently posted launch trailer. Have a gander, it's a fairly brief one:

Needless to say, if you already own the PC version, there is very little reason to grab the remaster. Some of the new changes are neat, but certainly not enough to justify spending €30 on a game you already own. On the other hand, if this is your first time playing Hot Pursuit and you're a fan of the genre, chances are you'll have a good time with it as it was and still is a pretty darn solid racing game.

Whatever your thoughts on the matter may be, you can learn more about Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, as well as check out some of the user reviews, over at Steam. Enjoy!
