Natural Selection 2 is a bit of a strange game, a combination of RTS base-building with Alien Vs Predator style of gameplay, but the end result is a thoroughly enjoyable experience... if you can get a commander that knows what he's doing anyway.

After going through a rather rough period earlier this year it seems that Natural Selection 2 has managed to fully recover given that the recently released Update 301 offers a bit of everything one could've hoped for - a new community map to explore, an unlockable skin to pretty up your aliens, and most importantly, an extensive list of balance changes and additions.

In order to earn the new Abyss Skulk skin you will simply need to spend two hours on the new map - Caged. Do be swift, however, as this promotion will only last until June 10, after which the Skulk skin will disappear from the game and become only available through trade with other players, or through the Steam community marketplace.
