[Update]: MTG Arena's Zendikar Rising expansion has landed with nearly 300 new cards in tow.

If you're looking for a reason to pick up MTG Arena, you might be interested to hear that the War of the Spark expansion has now arrived. Besides serving as the finale to the incredibly long-lasting Nicol Bolas storyline, the War of the Spark expansion has also brought in 264 new cards to toy around with (15 basic lands, 101 commons, 80 uncommons, 53 rares, 15 mythic rares).

Perhaps most importantly, at least as far as gameplay is concerned, the War of the Spark expansion has added a whole bunch of new planeswalkers, as well as given them some interesting new mechanics to mess around with. You can find the full list of cards, all neatly sorted by color, over at the offical website.

Much like the past few expansions, War of the Spark has also added a brand new code that offers three free packs: PlayWarSpark. Simply go into the store and input the code, as well as PlayRavnica or PlayAllegiance if you haven't already, and you'll get three new packs to play around with. Not a massive amount by any stretch, but free is free!
