Mirage: Arcane Warfare Taurant screenshot with the Greatsword on the Pit map

Mirage: Arcane Warfare is a spiritual successor to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, though with the highly armored and constantly screaming knights replaced with magic-wielding assassins and crazed wizards. After a lengthy beta period it officially released back in May, and now two months later it is getting its very first major content update.

The aptly named Gladiator Update brings with it two new arena styled maps to duke it out in, a brand new Greatsword weapon for the hulking Taraunt class, as well as fancy new spells for the Vypress, Alchemancer, and Vigilist to play around with. If you'd like a brief overview of what exactly all of this looks like in action, here's the recently posted trailer:

Besides all of the new toys the update has also brought in support for 10 new languages, the long awaited bot-assisted servers, as well as exclusive armor for those of you that have managed to reach ranks 70 and 80. There are also some minor balance changes and bug fixes to be found, so if you're interested in all of the details you will find the full patch notes over here. And finally, if you would like to learn more about Mirage I would suggest heading over to either Steam or the official website.
