[Update #2]: Microsoft Flight Simulator's first major update will be further fleshing out Japan.

[Update]: Microsoft Flight Simulator has now landed onto Steam, the Windows Store and Game Pass!

If you're looking forward to soaring across the virtual skies, then you'll be glad to hear that Microsoft Flight Simulator will be landing this August 18th onto PC. Much like the Halo games that have come before it, Microsoft Flight Simulator will be coming to not only the Windows Store and Game Pass, but Steam as well!

The good news doesn't end there, however, as the recent developer update has also revealed that Microsoft Flight Simulator will support TrackIR and VR! TrackIR support will be there from day one, while VR support will be launching later this year alongside the HP Reverb G2.

As for what exactly you can look forward to in terms of gameplay, that you can find out through the recently posted "Planes and Hand-Crafted Airports" trailer. Have a gander, it's a rather relaxing one:

You can learn more about the above-mentioned features, as well as the Microsoft Flight Simulator in general, over at the official website. Enjoy!
